Play Ball

Isaac loves throwing balls these days, Cyriss and him have a great time with the game. Here is Isaac with his buddy Liam playing a game of catch. These two little dudes are going to be good buds.

San Diego Summer

When I got pregnant, I really wanted to try to get all our baby stuff second hand. I could not comprehend buying something brand new that the baby would use for such a short time. I figured there had to be so much baby stuff out there, barely used, just waiting for us. With the help of my awesome parents of my students, friends, neighbors and family, much of Isaac's "stuff" is on it's second trip around.

One day Isaac and I were going for a jog and we saw this play gym in someone's front yard. It looked like it had not been used in a while, so I left a note asking if we could have it. The lovely people called and said "YES"! So we brought it home washed it up and Isaac loves it. He climbs up the slide and stands at the top like it is his castle.

So here are some shots of a little bit of sun that has peaked out so far this summer. We are waiting for more, but in the mean time we are enjoying the new play gym, Cyriss and the sandy beach.

Avocado

Avocado is at the top of Isaac's favorite fruit list. He will take down about 1/2 an avocado a day. With all that avocado, you would think he would be a big boy, but this is on the contrary. He is actually kind of a peanut. At his 10 month check up he ranks in the 7% for weight, while height is 60%. Tall and Lean. The Dr. said it is normal to see their weight drop at this age because they start moving so much. Boy is that ever true, Isaac is constantly on the move, but he will slow down for his favorite, the Avocado.

Watermelon

Isaac has a love for watermelon. He will eat slice after slice. I think it is the perfect treat for this little guy, it helps his teething, hydrates him and he is getting his fruit for the day. Here is a little play by play of him enjoying the sweet summer treat.

Very serious and concentrating on his first bite.

Mmmmmmmmm!

Hey Cyriss! You want some?!

Yum! Big bite.

Turn it up.

Isaac has found the volume on the stereo. He likes to hear the music loud, just like his mama.

Three Fantastic Years..

Ryan and I just celebrated out 3 year wedding anniversary. It has been a fun filled amazing 3 years. I have such a great guy and I am so thankful everyday to have his love, creativity and quirkiness.
We celebrated with a nice dinner and bottle of wine at home. To my complete surprise, Ryan spoiled me with an awesome tea kettle and tea. This is no ordinary tea, this tea is so tasty I would make special trips to the mall just to get it. In fact, the day of our anniversary, I did just that. Only to find out that Ryan was in the tea shop about 30 mins before I walked in. We had a good laugh about how it would have been in I walk in on him in the store buying the tea.

Oh the neglected blog....

It is time to play catch up. It has been a long time since we have posted any blogs and there has been so much going on in the OB Adams family. Since the last posts, Isaac turned 8 and now 9 months old. He has mastered his crawling skills, moving from one piece of furniture to the next and attempting to balance for a second or two. Language has also become an exciting new adventure. Here is a list of his first words:

Dog
mama
Dada
and we think he attempting Cyriss

He has his most important words mastered, next up Shankapadamouse....

Aside from Isaac's great endeavors, we finished our kitchen and we are cooking up a storm. We also celebrated fathers day with getting out our rusty neglected bikes and riding around the Bay. Did we leave Isaac at home? Nope, check out some photos below of his new gear to ride with us.

We have now entered into Summer in San Diego. We have already had a slew of visitors (and would love more!), did some Summer traveling, and enjoyed some beach days.

I hope to keep up the with blog a little better, so stay posted. Life is moving faster the faster Isaac learns to move, so stay tuned.

Isaac hanging out with his big boy cousins, this is really cute to see how little he is to all of them and remembering when they were this little.

Isaac is into feeding himself these days. The meal was oatmeal and blueberries spread on bread. YUM!

Happy Fathers day! Isaac received his own helmet and seat, so he can ride all over San Diego with his dada.
